Rick smiled to the waiter as he sat down at one of the tables, it was hidden away in the corner. He and Kat were having their date here. It wasn't the cheapest place around, but he wanted to treat her tonight/today. He'd had a free last period and thought he'd come early so that when she walked through the door he'd been waiting for her. He looked at his watch, she should be here soon. He rarely ate in places like this, only when him, his sister and their adoptive parents came out for a dinner together. Some of the staff remembered him and how well their parents tipped last time and smiled at him. Rick smiled back, politely. "Thanks" he said as one of waiters put a jug of water on his table and two glasses. He lifted the jug and poured himself a glass of water.

-Kat walked upto the resteraunt and smiled she had never ate here before it looked like a really good place, she could see her reflection in the window and quickly checked to make sure that she looked ok, she then saw that he was in the resteraunt alread and went through the door she spoke quickly to a waiter saying she was meeting someone here, they showed her to the table and she took a seat opposit Rick and grinned at him finally she could be herself for a while- "heya babe i missed you" - she said to him setting her bag on the floor next to her, she was wearing a pair of tight skinny jeans which suited her perfectly, a playboy top and a tight playboy jacket in pink with a pair of black boots-

"Hey, i missed you too" he replied smiling. "Have a good day?" he asked, as a waitor came over handing them two menus. The menus were thick and quite heavy but he took his opening it at the first page. He was wearing a pair of dark denim jeans himself, with a nice Dark Red shirt to go with them. He quickly scanned over the pages of the menu and set it down. He already knew what he was getting, he got the same thing every time he came here with his family. He lifted his glass and took a sip of water, he then took the jug and poured water into her water glass and smiled.

-She shrugged- "it was ok i guess except i was late to lesson and then i had to sit next to a hor..." -she stopped remembering he was friends with Anna- "some girl i dont get on with so well anymore so that kinda sucked not having anyone to talk to" -she took the menu and smiled and quickly scanned threw it didnt take her long to pick something it was the same kind of thing she had every time that they went out, she was a really fussy eater aswell, she grinned when he poured her some water- "thanks" -she said and took a few sips- "so how was your day?"

Rick nodded, and then shrugged. "Pretty normal I guess, just like every other day" he smiled over at her. The waiter came over with a small notepad to take down orders, he smiled politely and gave him his order and Kats, he pretty much knew what she would want since they both ordered around the same dishes no matter were they went. "So who was this girl you had to sit beside? Was she rude to you or anything" Rick had no clue Anna and Kat used to be friends, when he'd asked Anna why she hated Kat, she'd hesitated and said they just hated each other from day one, so he didn't push it.

-Kat smiled as the waiter took there orders Rick knew her to well without asking her he knew what to order, she frowned a litle at his question well she might aswell tell him now was as good a time as any- "oh it was your friend Anna and yer she was kind of rude but i will be honest i gave as good as i got perhaps i even started it but its my fault i had to sit next to the stupid bi.. anyways me and her used to be freinds along time ago and then wel fell out" -she cut it short witout no real explanation of why the fell out and he would probably think it was stupid but she wasnt going to tell him any more than that- "so you got much homework?" -she asked changing the conversation quickly-

Rick arched an eyebrow slightly? Anna and Kat used to be friends? That was impossible, they hated each other, Anna had told him so, he guessed she didn't want to talk about it so he nodded in response to her question, "Yeah I got some, not much though" he smiled and took another sip of his water. "I would really prefer it if you wouldn't call Anna a B****, W**** or a S*** etc, she's a very good friend of mine" he smiled, hoping she wouldn't take that as offensive or him telling her off. He'd known Anna for longer and she was a good friend, that didn't mean that he would automatically take her side on some occasions he had to be fair. Anna was his friend but Kat was his girlfriend, the only one in a long time. "So did you get any homework?" he asked, changing the subject back to school and homework.

-when Rick first started going on about her not being horrible about Anna she did her natural defensive thing and folded her arms and half glared but then she realised that it must put him in quite an awkward position- "yer alright not around you but you know apart from that i will insult her i know what she says about me yano!" -she sighed that was the end of that conversation she did not wanna go failling out with him aswell, she took a sip of her water gently setting the glass on the table and thinking for a moment if she did get any homework or not- "oh yer i got some first thing but yano i might not do it its for a pathetic lesson anyways" -she always had the same attitude towards her school stuff which was a very bad one, she tried to think of something else for them to talk about- "so has the school changed much since girls joined aswell?" -she knew he used to go when it was an all boys school she though that must have been weird-

Rick shrugged slightly, "Not that much, only there's two changing rooms and we have less gym classes because the girls and boys can't have it at the same time" he smiled, "It doesn't bother me though, I'm glad girls were allowed, because then I wouldn't have met you" He reached over taking his hand in hers. He would talk to Anna later, probably call her, and say the same thing he'd said to Kat about not calling her names, well not infront of him. As long as it wasn't infront of him. When he had told Anna he was dating Kat she'd been really mad, she said he was like betraying her since he and she were practically 'Best Friends', but once Anna had seen how happy he was, she had lay off.

-Kat smiled at him, he was just the sweetest guy that she ahd ever met and knew exactly what to say all the time- "i can't imagine ever of going to a school without boys there it would have been really weird" -she smiled and used her other hand to pick up her glass and take another sip of her water- "i am so hungry now which is not suprising i havent ate since yesterday dinner" -she had only just realised how long it had been since she had last ate anything, she was terrible for eating. Rick always moaned at her about it aswell, she sighed a little and then quickly smiled at him. She loved him so much she just never seemed to be able to tell him that for some reason-

"Oh.." Rick had known a long time ago that if you gave Kat advice she would take it as something that was wrong with the way she acted, dressed etc. and would immediatley go into defence mode. He'd seen it many times and been caught it. "Oh there's our food now" he smiled as the waiter held two dishes as he came towards their table, Rick too was hungry but he wasn't starved he'd had a light lunch at home with his sister before coming here. "Thanks" he said to the waiter and had to let go of Kats hand. He smiled at her and started eating.

"Thanks" -she said to the waiter who set the food down infront of her she grinned at Rick and picked up the knife and fork and started to eat she ate slowly and with very small mouthfulls it was almost what you would call painful to watch her to eat- "mmm this is really good food i am so gonna have to come to this place again" -she grinned and had some water before carrying on eating. Rick was just the best guy to her he always seemed to know what she wanted and how to make her happy she just wished that she was a better girlfriend sometimes because she could be a bit of an ass to him now and then, but she was going to change that starting now.....-

Rick smiled as he ate his food neatly, cutting each piece precisely and eating it. "So any plans for the weekend?" he asked. He wanted to take her out on a 'normal' date instead of fancy places like here. He was thinking maybe the park or the movies or something, of course he could afford expensive places but he didn't want her to think he was bringing her to these places because he thought she was high maintenance. He loved her just the way she was, he knew she could be rude sometimes to other girls but he had seen the good side of her more than once, and if people didn't like her he didn't care. He took a sip of his water and continued eating.

-she finished chewing some food in her mouth and swallowed it- "umm no i dont have any plans.. why whats up?" -she asked and smiled at him taking a sip of her water again and cutting another piece of food and eating it, she loved the fact that he always took her out to these really nice places. but sometimes she just wondered if he only was with her because he liked to have ehr on his arm and she wouldnt stay with him if he didnt take her out to these places.. well that was not so much what she thought as what people said to her, but she loved Rick and nothing would change that not anything. She was hoping the could spend a nice normal day together and have a fun time together-

"I was just thinking we could do something together, like go to the movies or something? Or the park, whatever, it's up to you really...to be honest I get a little tired of going to these same kinda places.." He didn't want to offend her by saying that as if saying she was making him come here, he just wanted her to know he liked more down to earth stuff. He would rather go ice skating or something than go to the Opera. He hoped she wouldn't get the wrong idea about what he was saying, of course if she liked these places he would keep bringing her to them no questions asked. He ate his last peice of food, he was always first to finish his dinner even when he want out with his family, he swallowed it and refilled his glass taking a sip.
